Soundarya College of Law, Bengaluru has participated in Kanoonu Santhe on account of Silver Jubilee of Ramaiah College of Law and inauguration of ‘Access to Justice Conclave’ on 29th July, 2023 at MSRIT Quadrangle, MSRIT Campus, Bengaluru. In this conclave, SCL has put a stall to display the smart practices adopted by the legal services clinics in providing the access to justice.
The program was inaugurated by His Excellency Justice S Abdul Nazeer, Hon’ble Governor of Andhra Pradesh. The program was presided by Hon’ble Justice A S Bopanna. The Guest of Honour of this event, Hon’ble Smt. Justice B V Nagatathna, Hon’ble Shri. Justice Aravind Kumar, Hon’ble Shri. Justice Prasanna B Varale, Hon’ble Shri. Justice G Narendra graced this ceremony.
In this event two banners, one relating to the various activities conducted by Legal Service Clinics of Soundarya College of Law and another relating to the organogram of NALSA were displayed, placards containing various quotes of legal luminaries and the chart relating to food adulteration were also displayed.
All the dignitaries of the inaugural ceremony visited the stall with KSLSA officials. DLSA, Bangalore Rural District adjudged the stall and informed SCL to conduct Sarkari Santhe for providing the benefits arising out of the schemes of the central and state government. This event was coordinated by Mr. Hanumanthe Gowda N A. Ms. Ranjitha S, Mr. Beeresh H M, Mr. Niranjan & Mr. Yathin Das, student PLVs participated in it.
After that, Samvaada was organized in which Justice Mr. Indreesh E S, Justice Mr. K Gururajan, Mr. H K Jagadeesh Additional Secretary, Mr. Raghavendra Shettigar DLSA, Mr. Vignesh Panel Advocate, KSLSA, Prof. Banerjee Jacob, Mr. Ruday Kumar Shetty, Finance Officer, Ms. Purna Ravishankar Advocate, Alterno Law Firm, Ms. Darshana Vora & Ms. Ruthu Honapura, students of RCL were the panelists and Mr. Vikrar Ahmed moderated the event.
Mr. Girish K, Faculty SCL, Ms. Yashaswini, Ms. Chitra R and Ms. Priya Shree, student PLVs participated in it along with the other students. Mr. Pramod Kumar R, Faculty SCL witnessed both the events.
