Legal Services Clinic: Legal Awareness Programmes

Legal Awareness Programme on Cyber Law, Cyber Crimes and Information Technology Act, 2000 was held in Government Pre-University College, Peenya on 14-11-2024 at 1 pm and Government Pre-University College, Hesaragatta at 3 pm. Mr. Siddaramaiah, Principal, Government PU College, Peenya and Ms. Renuka, Principal, Government PU College, Hesaragatta welcomed and introduced Co-ordinators of Legal Services Clinic of Soundarya College of Law Mr. Hanumanthe Gowda N. A. and Mr. Shivakumargouda Patil. Mr. Hanumanthe Gowda N.A. educated the children with the meaning of cyber law and explained different kinds of cyber crimes with the present cases. Mr. Shivakumargouda Patil enlightened students about the punishments for cyber crimes under BNS and Information Technology Act. Student volunteers of Legal Services Clinic of Soundarya College of Law Mr. Amitkumar C., Ms. Rupini Nag, Ms. Shreeya U., Ms. Chitra, Mr. Suchit R., Ms. Malini and Mr. Nikhil were present.
