Soundarya College of Law, Bengaluru, Legal Service Clinic has organized an awareness program on Human Organ Donation in association of MOHAN and VIVEKAYUGA Foundations on 13/01/2024 at 11:00 AM in Ocarina.
Mrs. Ranjini Shankar M S, Project Manager, MOHAN foundation, in her key note address described the importance of Human Organ donation and the efforts of the foundation to persuade people to donate the organs of their deceased relatives. Dr. T R Kanmani, Addl. Professor, Dept. of Psychiatry Social Work of NIMHANS, shared her experiences about the difficulties faced by them to encourage people to be organ donators within the purview of legal provisions. Dr. D M Hegde, President of VIVEKYUGA Foundations called the students and faculties of SCL to believe in life after death wherein people get remembered for their noble acts and deeds during their life period.
