The Legal Service Clinics and NSS of Soundarya College of Law teamed up together for creating awareness on the implications of tobacco and its allied products on health. The youths both in urban and rural areas are now addicted to use of tobacco products, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances which affects their life and also adversely affecting their family members. By this awareness program students were been advised not use tobacco products and also educate their relatives and family members not to use these products. To make understand the ill effects of tobacco abuse audio visuals of Dr. Devi Shetty and Animated movies were screened. Mr. Abhijith, Asst. Professor was MC and Dr. B P Mahesha delivered his Presidential remarks reiterated that use of tobacco products leads to cancer and may result in death causing loss of dependency.
