On 09/11/2024, a workshop on CV drafting and Interview was conducted by the Internship and Placement Cell for all the students of Soundarya College of Law, with special focus on final years and pre final years students. As they will be graduating next year and the year after that, they should be well prepared with their CV and resumes. For the same reason, 2 speakers were invited to help and guide the students and to make them placement ready. Speaker no 1 discussed about the commonly made mistakes in CV and how to draft it correctly so that CVs of the students does not get rejected. Speaker No 2 highlighted the importance of reading literature, philosophy and jurisprudence for the law students, and how it improves the knowledge and command over the language. The speaker then also highlighted the importance of academia and advised the students to use all of the college facilities for maximum benefits. The workshop ended with an Q&A session. Overall the workshop was well received by the students as they were able to find out the mistakes in their CVs and corrected then accordingly.
