Student Council

The Students' Council is dedicated to the overall well-being and holistic development of students at the institute. As the coordinating body between students and the administration, the Council oversees all areas within the institute's jurisdiction. As an elected central student body, it ensures transparent communication and information flow between the management and students. The Council safeguards the interests of the student community and negotiates with the administration on their behalf.

Moot Court Society

The Moot Court Committee serves as the dynamic centre of the mooting culture. It consists of dedicated individuals passionate about mooting from all batches of the Law School. The Committee is solely responsible for organizing the Intra and National Moot Court Competitions at SCL, fostering a passion for mooting among students across India. Mooting simulates court proceedings, allowing students to develop skills such as persuasion, legal reasoning, and presentation. The Committee provides students with real-world legal challenges, offering opportunities to apply their legal knowledge in practical scenarios while enhancing their understanding of the law. SCL promotes a strong mooting culture through its National Moot Court Competitions, which attract participants from across the country for an immersive three-day experience.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The NSS Unit is committed to the power of community engagement and social responsibility. It aims to develop students' personalities through community service and is a voluntary association of young people in colleges, universities, and at the +2 level, fostering a connection between campus and community. The program seeks to instill social welfare values in students and encourage service to society without bias. The NSS Unit strives to cultivate "selfless service," helping students develop leadership qualities and skills in mobilizing community participation. NSS plays a crucial role in identifying community needs and problems, actively engaging in problem-solving, and fostering a sense of social and civic responsibility. To fulfill the NSS motto, the unit organizes a variety of regular and annual activities.

Legal Aid Cell (LAC) and Youth Red Cross (YRC) Unit

The Legal Aid Cell is dedicated to providing legal assistance to underprivileged individuals, ensuring that everyone has access to justice. Meanwhile, the Youth Red Cross Unit engages in humanitarian activities, including blood donation drives, health awareness programs, and disaster relief efforts. Together, these units support the NSS's mission to serve the community and foster a culture of compassion and service among our students. We invite you to join us in our collective efforts to make a meaningful impact on society.
